General information on the new loading calculation and migration

 

You can use the new laderechnung for an overview and independent management of your charging cards, customers and contracts.

We are moving our billing system laderechnung from the emobilitycloud to the ladecloud, as the emobilitycloud will definitely be shut down in the course of 2023. 

How does the migration work?

We will start the migration at the end of March. Each individual partner will then be transferred to the new laderechnung on request. When exactly you will be migrated depends on the delivery of the necessary data, your input and the complexity of your subscriptions.

We can only migrate existing subscriptions to the new laderechnung. If you would like to add new subscriptions or updated versions of your subscriptions directly at the start of the new laderechnung, please contact us. offerwe will work with you to create or modify these subscriptions during the migration process. 

The migration consists of the following steps:

As a partner, you are actively involved in all steps of the migration process marked in red.

 

Depending on the size of the company and the complexity of the subscription, the migration will take place at different speeds. Therefore, we cannot tell you now how long the different steps of your migration will take. As soon as we inform you of the migration date and the next steps, you will receive a better individualised process overview.

After you have finalised your subscriptions (step 6), new customers can only register in the new charging account. Your existing customers will continue to use the old charging invoice until the final GO LIVE (step 9).

With GO LIVE (step 9), all subscriptions in the old charge bill are cancelled and billing will only take place via the new charge bill. A further 4 weeks later, a so-called "clean-up" takes place, during which all inactive customer data is deleted. 

What do you need to consider during migration if you wish to make changes to your existing terms and conditions, privacy policy and/or subscriptions?

You must comply with your duty to inform. This means that if you amend your GTCs, data protection provisions and/or subscriptions, you must inform your customers of this within the specified period.

If you would like to adjust your subscriptions, there are two options:

Variant 1

We migrate your customer data and all associated existing subscriptions. You can customise the subscriptions independently after the migration or during the migration (step 5) in collaboration with us

This has the advantage that your customers are directly linked to the subscriptions (step 7) and only have to enter their payment method themselves (step 8).

Your customers are automatically prompted to save their payment method. If customers do not save a payment method and therefore do not agree to the new loading invoice, you will no longer be able to load from GO LIVE (step 9). In this case, these customers still have a transitional period of four weeks to save the payment method. If the respective customers do not do this, the customer data of the affected customers will be removed from the database of the new charging invoice after four weeks. From now on, these customers can "only" register in laderechnung like a new customer. Their customer data will no longer be stored.  

If you wish to make adjustments to the subscriptions, you are responsible for informing your customers about the contract adjustments within the prescribed framework.

Once the migration is complete, you will be able to manage your subscriptions/contracts independently. This also includes the option of changing them or creating new subscriptions/contracts.

Attention:

A partial migration of your existing subscriptions is not possible, so you must either migrate all or none of your existing subscriptions.

In a few special cases, we may be forced to implement variant 2. We will be happy to support you with the implementation.

Variant 2

We only migrate your customer data. You can create your customised or new subscriptions independently as part of the migration (step 5), or in collaboration with us, according to your wishes. 

This means that your customer data is transferred (step 7), but no subscription link is created. In contrast to option 1, your customers must therefore select and finalise their subscription themselves and save their payment details (step 8).

If customers do not take out a subscription in the new charging invoice, the respective subscriptions to GO LIVE (step 9) in the old charging invoice will be cancelled and the customers concerned will no longer be able to charge from this point onwards. In this case, these customers still have a transitional period of four weeks to take out a new subscription. If they do not do so, their customer data will be removed from the new laderechnung database after four weeks. From now on, affected customers will "only" be able to register in laderechnung as a new customer, as their customer data will no longer be stored. 

 

The advantage of this option is that you can restructure your subscriptions and tariffs and your customers can also flexibly select their new contract. Please note your obligation to inform your customers and the corresponding deadlines to be observed.

What options do you have for adapting the contract after migration?

Once the migration is complete, you can manage your organisation yourself. This allows you to adjust your contracts and tariffs easily, independently and at any time, while of course complying with your legal framework. 

What you need for the enquiry:

The processing of the enquiry cannot be interrupted in between. If you close or refresh the page in between, the data you have filled in so far will be lost. Your data will only be transmitted when you have reliably sent the enquiry and see a success message.

However, you can easily go back and forth between the steps during processing to make corrections, as long as you have filled in all mandatory fields.



The clerks of the old loading invoice are not automatically transferred.
You must appoint at least one administrator.

After submitting the enquiry, you will receive a copy of your completed enquiry at the e-mail address you provided.
