smartlab and Elexon equip car parks with charging infrastructure and load management
Aachen. After smartlab moved into its new headquarters at the beginning of the year, eight charging points with a charging capacity of 11kw each have now also been connected in the underground car park at the company headquarters in Aachen. This means that guests and employees can now charge electricity from 100% renewable energies.
With a subsidy from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, smartlab carried out the "360° product" test project together with its strategic partner elexon, from the application for the subsidy to the final installation of the charging infrastructure.
"All the wheels meshed together so that all the tasks that needed to be mastered could be completed smoothly, quickly and precisely as planned. The cooperation was excellent from start to finish and all problems were successfully solved together," said Mr Dirk Schäfer (elexon) and Mr Dirk Natschke (smartlab).
This showed that even complex infrastructure solutions can now be implemented relatively quickly if all stakeholders have the necessary expertise and are willing to realise the tasks. Thanks to modern transmission technology, it is possible to make full use of intelligent charging infrastructure in the underground car park, including the software-based load management of smartlab.
In future, customers will be able to have their charging infrastructure planned, installed, maintained and invoiced by smartlab right from the start. Everything from a single source. This applies to both municipal utilities and companies.
