company car billing

With its laderechnung product, smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH is now offering municipal utilities an automated complete solution for billing all e-mobile applications for employees and company cars

With its laderechnung product, smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH is now offering municipal utilities an automated complete solution for billing all e-mobile applications for employees and company cars. Whether at work, in public spaces or at home at a private charging point, charging everywhere on one bill.

Municipal utilities can now offer the product to their business customers. Companies can now charge their employees at home, at the employer's charging points and in public. A smart charging station and a charging card are required. Of course, as before, charging is also possible at the more than 6,000 charging points of ladenetz.de, the connected business partners and at around 35,000 roaming charging points connected throughout Europe. What is new is that charging at home and at work can be billed automatically. "Now companies can easily charge their employees' company cars. What sounds complicated is actually quite simple. The company can generate an automated credit note and thus reimburse the employee for their electricity costs at home," says Dr Mark Steffen Walcher, Managing Director of smartlab. The "charge at home" option therefore makes it possible to record the charging processes of employees with company cars at the private, intelligent charging point. The amount of energy charged in this way is credited to the respective employee. This is all done with just one charging card and one invoice. The tariffs for charging at the employer's premises, in public and at the private charging point can be set individually for each use case and even for each charging card.

smartlab is the market leader for public charging points in Germany with ladenetz.de. The more than 200 connected municipal utilities currently have the largest public charging network in Germany. smartlab develops innovative services, products and concepts for electromobility. The focus is always on the networking of charging infrastructure, as the aim is to achieve a comprehensive network throughout Germany and Europe-wide interoperability with other market players. smartlab attaches particular importance to the user-friendliness of the mobility concepts, which is why it draws on practical experience from federally funded research projects. The shareholders of smartlab are Duisburger Versorgungs- und Verkehrsgesellschaft, erdgas schwaben, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, Stadtwerke Osnabrück, STAWAG and Thüga.
