Press release: Simple and flexible refuelling, OPG in the ladenetz.de network

Together with ladenetz.de, Osnabrücker Parkstätten-Betriebsgesellschaft (OPG) is making refuelling easier and more flexible. With a new E-LadeCard, electric car drivers can not only charge at the steadily increasing number of public OPG charging points in Osnabrück. E-LadeCard holders also have access to more than 140,000 public charging points across Europe by participating in the ladenetz.de network.

"OPG now operates more than 100 public charging points in Osnabrück. In the coming months, almost 50 more are to be added - subsidised by the federal government," says the head of ladebusiness Dirk Natschke. In terms of population, Osnabrück will therefore be one of the cities with the highest density of public charging points.

SMART/LAB Innovationsgesellschaft mbH, with its ladenetz.de and ladebusiness brands, as a developer of services, products and concepts for electromobility, and OPG as an energy supplier are working together to create space for electromobility in Osnabrück.

Ladebusiness offers partners 360° service
Ladebusiness supports partners from planning to billing. The focus here is on topics such as subsidies, internal and external roaming, maintenance and company car billing. Thanks to this comprehensive service, quality is no longer a matter of luck. OPG is now also benefiting from this. You can find more information about ladebusiness products at: www.ladebusiness.de.

Two different charging tariffs
"But a good charging infrastructure isn't everything - refuelling has to be simple and flexible," emphasises OPG CEO Wigand Maethner. The OPG team has therefore launched a new e-charging card on the market. Customers can choose from two different tariffs for refuelling free of charge: the "Classic" tariff for occasional charging and the "Plus" tariff for regular charging. The tariff can be changed flexibly on a monthly basis, the invoice is sent by e-mail with itemised proof of all charging processes, the invoice amount is automatically debited by direct debit or credit card, made possible by the comprehensive service provided by ladebusiness.

Refuelling in the charging network
As one of 245 ladenetz.de partners, OPG also makes its e-charging card available throughout Europe. Via Germany's largest charging network, ladenetz.de, cardholders have access to more than 140,000 public charging points. "Quote: Dr Walcher/Mr Dirk Natschke". "And the tariff remains the same within the ladenetz network," adds Maethner. The first registrations were received directly after the E-LadeCard product launch on the OPG website. All further information on free registration, tariffs and using the E-LadeCard can be found at www.parken-osnabrueck.de.
