The roaming agreement between smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH and IONITY GmbH will create one of the largest fast-charging networks in Germany and one of the largest in Europe for customers of the municipal utility platform ladenetz.de and the commercial platform ladenetz.de Business-Partner. IONITY is building and operating its High Power Charging (HPC) network with state-of-the-art technology and a charging capacity of up to 350 kW. The charging stations use the European charging standard CCS (Combined Charging System) and are powered by 100 % of renewable energy.
Across Europe, customers of ladenetz.de now have access to 340 IONITY fast-charging parks with over 1600 charging points. In addition to smartlab's roaming partners, ladenetz.de and ladenetz.de business partners are also contributing several hundred fast-charging points, operated by the municipal utilities and the business partners themselves. "We are delighted that we can close many gaps in Germany and Europe through roaming with IONITY.
