Roaming co-operation between ladenetz.de and Wemag AG

WEMAG AG and smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH conclude a unilateral roaming agreement, further expanding the available charging network for customers of the ladenetz.de municipal utility network and ladenetz.de Business.

Aachen, Schwerin, 08.03.2021. The unilateral roaming agreement between smartlab Innovationsgesellschaft mbH and WEMAG provides customers of the ladenetz.de and ladenetz.de Business networks with an even larger number of charging stations. With the additional charging points from WEMAG, ladenetz.de customers can now recharge their batteries at around 10,150 charging stations.

"WEMAG installed 20 charging boxes for users in the tourist sector back in 2013. While the stations at that time did not yet have a billing system, WEMAG now operates 83 public charging points and will expand the range to a total of 150 public charging points by summer 2021. With smartlab, we have found a strong partner to further promote electromobility by giving many thousands of ladenetz.de customers access to our charging infrastructure," says Benjamin Hintz, Group Manager Technical Sales at WEMAG.
