ladenetz.de is expanding its network at an accelerated pace. With over 220 municipal utilities now in the network, the number of charging points has also increased significantly.
Despite reduced mobility behaviour in recent months, the ladenetz.de network is growing steadily.
With currently 8,430 charging points, the number has increased by 10% in the last quarter alone and even by 43% over the course of the last year.
As a result, ladenetz.de was able to further increase its market share of public charging stations to 28 %.
"Although fewer people were on the road and the number of charging processes has therefore fallen, the expansion of the charging infrastructure is continuing at an accelerated pace," says Moritz Dickehage, Head of Operations at smartlab.
Partners in the west and south of Germany in particular have seen above-average growth thanks to the inclusion of regional and national funding projects. At the same time, the number of municipal utility partners in the ladenetz.de network increased to 221 by August 2020.
