Aachen. Despite the current tense situation, the smartlab team was able to switch to mobile working from home with almost the entire team and thus ensure business as usual. The following municipal utility partners have been acquired by smartlab for the municipal utility network ladenetz.de:
- Borken municipal utilities
- Zweibrücken municipal utilities
- Kiefersfelden municipal utilities

- Coesfeld municipal utilities
- Neuffen municipal utilities
- EWA Crack
ladenetz.de is an association of municipal utility partners who jointly develop and network charging infrastructure. Local energy suppliers can join the network and thus become part of a Germany-wide network.
One municipal utility, one card - many possibilities
As the number of partners continues to grow, so does the available charging infrastructure. The number of charging points in the network increased by more than 100 per cent again last year. In total, the partners already operate well over 6,000 charging points. Customers of the municipal utilities can conveniently charge their vehicles anywhere with one and the same card. The contact for billing always remains the local municipal utility. In addition, around 30,000 further charging points are being added across Europe, which customers can also use thanks to existing roaming partnerships with other charging infrastructure providers.
