The really important questions!

How do I get access to the charging stations of the ladenetz.de network?

If you have a ladenetz.de charging card, simply hold it up to the charging station and you will have access.
The same applies if you have a charging card from our external roaming partners. Whether a station is operated by one of our roaming partners can be seen on the lademap. These are indicated by the diamond symbol. If you do not have a valid RFID card or chip/coin, you can also use our ladeapp and lademap to select the desired station and activate your charging process without registering.

Who can I contact if a charging station of the ladenetz.de network is not functioning?

The telephone number of a service hotline of the respective operator is printed on the charging stations of the ladenetz.de network. This person is responsible for the maintenance of the charging station. Please understand that as an IT service provider, we cannot have technicians on site throughout Germany. Before you report the defect to the fault reporting service, we ask you to try the charging process again at the second charging point. It is possible that only one charging point is damaged. In any case, report the incident to the service hotline of the respective operator and provide the charging point number of the affected charging point so that you can be helped as quickly as possible and the status of the charging station can be updated.

Can I also charge at ladenetz.de charging stations with an access card from providers that are not part of the ladenetz.de network?

Yes, thanks to our extensive roaming agreements with many charging station providers, we have already established a large network of charging options for our customers. Our lademap gives you a quick overview of all available charging stations. The conditions and access options for your card depend on the terms of your contract with your provider. Therefore, please contact your card issuer directly.

An electric car can only fully exploit all its advantages with electricity generated from renewable sources! You can find out the exact composition of the electricity mix from the partner who operates the charging station in question.

With what power can I charge at the columns?

The performance of the charging stations varies from station to station. In the lademap and ladeapp of ladenetz.de, you can call up details about the desired charging station.
The charging power also depends on the vehicle model, the charging cable and whether several e-cars are being charged at the same time. In the latter case, the maximum available power is divided and thus leads to longer charging times.

Where can I charge

    Charging stations and charging points

    What are charging stations?

A charging station for electric vehicles refers to a charging point with the help of which the battery of an e-car can be charged. The charging infrastructure enables charging at various locations. For example, at home at wallboxes, at companies at charging stations, or in public spaces at fast charging stations. You can access the charging station or charging point via the ladeapp or the charging card of the local operator.
    Limitless charging

Who owns the charging stations of the ladenetz.de network?

The charging stations are set up by the ladenetz.de partners and are usually their property. The lisy2 IT-system enables the partners to optimally operate and manage their charging stations. If you as an e-car driver have questions about the charging stations, please contact the respective charging station operator directly (see partners).

How can charging stations be designed?

The partners can design their charging stations in their own corporate design, for example by wrapping the charging stations in foil. However, the ladenetz.de logo or the ladebusiness logo must be present on every charging station as a distinguishing feature. In addition, the service number of the charging pole operator must be clearly visible in order to be quickly accessible for the e-car driver in the event of a malfunction.

Can I buy charging stations from SMART/LAB?

No, SMART/LAB does not sell charging systems for electric cars, but it advises its partners on the selection of suitable hardware and arranges charging systems from some manufacturers. The network partners benefit from exclusive conditions.
    Find partner

Which charging stations are available in the SMART/LAB network

In principle, any charging station that supports the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) can be connected and operated using the lisy2 IT-system. However, SMART/LAB works closely with selected hardware manufacturers to meet the requirements of customers and to ensure the quality of the connection. In this regard, we have developed a test that certifies the manufacturers (ladenetz.de Ready / ladenetz.de Ready-Plus). Please feel free to contact us here.

    What is the ladebox?

The ladebox is a charging station for pedelec batteries. The round column has three compartments with two sockets each, where you or your customers can charge your battery protected from rain. Thanks to the body made of stainless steel sheets and a door secured with a combination lock, your battery is optimally protected. The compartments are generously designed, so that even a bicycle helmet or backpack can find space in it. Thanks to its large surface area, the ladebox can also be used as an attractive advertising space, making it the ideal addition to your charging infrastructure along bike paths or in the vicinity of restaurants and hotels. You can find more information here.
